Following the massive success of the Buyagift Next Pet Model campaign last year, the website is now on the hunt for the king or queen of the pet ‘selfie’.
Buyagift has teamed with two UK based animal charities, Angels Animal Rescue and Wood Green, The Animal Shelter launching the competition which will run from June 3 to July 3.
The website, which offers experience days, short breaks and spa trips said: “Your furry fashionistas will be given the chance to be the next Kim Kar-dachshund or up and coming Miranda Purr – and all you need to do is send in a pet selfie!
“Open to all animals and breeds, Buyagift is on the lookout for the most camera friendly companions however, greater kudos will be given to creative snaps – the funnier and more inventive the better and the more likely to win.”
To enter visit its Facebook page, become a fan and upload a picture through its app, which will go live on the first day of the competition. Five semi finalists and the two photos with the most ‘Likes’ will be judged by the Angels Animal Rescue and Wood Green charities before a winner is announced.
Prizes include £1,000 donated to the chosen charities, a luxury pamper day for the winning pet and £100 worth of pet gifts from the website for both the winner and runner up.
