Catit unveils sustainable packaging to celebrate Earth month
Made of 70% renewable FSC-certified paperboard, Tetra Recart boxes are recyclable, can be resealed and have a lower carbon footprint

Pet brand Catit has launched a new sustainable cat food packaging for its wet food range, Catit Cuisine, this Earth month.
In addition, the group’s Catit Recipes dry food range is also using recyclable packaging unlike many other pet food options.
Using only fresh and natural ingredients, Catit Cuisine offers a variety of options from gourmet pâtés and mousses to nourishing stews.
Additionally, Catit Recipes range of cat kibbles is freshly prepared at a climate-neutral facility, applying the “highest” international standards for food quality and hygiene.
The wet food range is available now in Tetra Pak cartons, which are a better packaging option for the environment compared to traditional pouches. Each little box of Catit Cuisine wet food holds a generous amount of food and contains up to 25% more than the average cat food pouch or can.
Made of 70% renewable FSC-certified paperboard, Tetra Recart boxes are recyclable, can be resealed and have a lower carbon footprint.
The brand’s dry food range also uses recyclable packaging made of LDPE4, which is fully recyclable at most supermarkets and recycling centres, or in your kerbside recycling bin.
Paul Trott, UK marketing manager at Catit, said: “During this Earth Month and beyond, Catit is keen to showcase the planet-friendly production and packaging options we have introduced to help save the planet one pawprint at a time.”
