The pet-bedding company offered 20 beds of various sizes and shapes to suit all different types of dog breeds. Prizes included Memory Foam, Self-Heating and Super-Absorbent styles of beds from across the Scruffs® range.
Scruffs®’ biggest creation, the Grizzly Bear Bed, was included at the end of the event. Marketing executive at Scruffs®, Stephen Wooder, said: “#Scruffs20Days lived up to be the blockbuster event which we had hoped for.
“In the 20-Day event, the Scruffs® brand name was seen on over 2,400,000 Facebook timelines across the world, and we saw a rise of over 3,000 page likes in just under three weeks. We’re looking forward to replicating this level of success into 2017 with a new series of giveaways and promotions.”
In the company’s ten-year history, this was the first time Scruffs® had held a giveaway of this scale. The closest comparison comes from summer 2015, when a ten-day giveaway event was featured to celebrate their tenth birthday.
Last December, Scruffs® donated a Grizzly Bear Bed (RRP: £199.99) to Border Collie Rescue UK as part of its Christmas event, which reached over 80,000 people across the globe.
