A pet business has put out an urgent appeal for information following the theft of five dogs. One male and four female dogs were within a white Fiat Diablo cargo van when it was stolen from a south London street on July 12. The vehicle, which belongs to Complete Pet Care, was taken by a man in a grey hooded top.

The male dog was discovered after he was dumped by the thief in Sydenham. The four female dogs are still missing. The owner of Complete Pet Care, Angela Norton, fears that the four female pets may have been abandoned in different areas en route out of London.

“Everyone’s absolutely devastated,” said Angela Norton said “What I find amazing is the grace of the owners and the support of the volunteers. Even other dog walking businesses are all pulling together to get these dogs back, because the key thing is the dogs.”

Further details and contact numbers to call with information can be found at www.doglost.co.uk. Mrs Norton fears the dogs will have gone into hiding and has asked members of the public to call the Dog Lost line immediately with any sightings. Alternatively, telephone Mrs Norton directly on 07798 606 455.
