The Pet Food Manufacturers’ Association (PFMA) has released a range of information-packed fact sheets, as part of its ‘Truth about Pet Food’ campaign.
The sheets will act as educational tools, tackling and dispelling many of the myths around the manufacture of pet food. The selection currently includes ten fact sheets and two posters, which are available online at pfma.org,uk/fact-sheets:

- Vegetarian Diets
- Homemade Diets
- Grain-Free Diets
- Understanding Calories
- Puppy Nutrition
- Indoor Birds
- Wild Birds Feeding (poster)
- The Importance of Hay (poster)
Nicole Paley, communications manager for PFMA, said: “We launched this range to meet a demand among our members and other professionals at the front line of pet care who were looking for expert guidance on a range of pet food topics.
“So, whether you are a retailer looking to help a customer clarify a query about pet food labelling or a vet nurse seeking clarification on understanding calories, we have a fact sheet for you!”
