“Chat Délices” created by celebrity chef and restaurateur Simon Rimmer, in conjunction with MORE TH>N Pet Insurance, is the first-ever fine dining dish for felines.
Designed as a special treat for the discerning cats of the UK, the dish wouldn’t look out of place on the menu of a Michelin-starred restaurant with its tender leg of roasted duck, lobster sushi roll and Beluga caviar.
While on the surface Chat Délices may appear a feline spin on a classic human dish, the meal has in fact been scientifically developed in close collaboration with vets using the very latest insight on cat nutrition. Each ingredient and its precise quantities were carefully chosen according to a cat’s strict dietary requirements.
This one-off treat will be exclusive with only 50 portions being produced, with each dish being prepared by Simon Rimmer and packaged in luxury cat-themed boxes before being sold on a first-come, first-served basis. All proceeds from the sale of the dish will be donated to the RSPCA.
The dish will be available in IceTank kitchen in Covent Garden as of 3pm today (28 June).
