GoWalkies launches blockchain technology funding round

GoWalkies now plans to raise ยฃ500,000 to invest in both back-end and customer-facing innovations to โ€˜improve user experience and solidify GoWalkiesโ€™ advancing position in the pet-technology sector both UK and worldwideโ€™

GoWalkies, the dog walking app, has launched its first funding round to advance its use of blockchain technology and help โ€œdrive its ambitious growth plansโ€.

Launched in BETA phase in June 2021, GoWalkies has been developed with an intuitive interface that connects dog walkers with dog owners โ€“ which aims to โ€œprovide the opportunity for walkers to grow their business, whilst giving owners complete peace of mind over the care of their four-legged friendsโ€.

GoWalkies now plans to raise ยฃ500,000 to invest in both back-end and customer-facing innovations to โ€œimprove user experience and solidify GoWalkiesโ€™ advancing position in the pet-technology sector both UK and worldwideโ€. This includes the development and implementation of advanced blockchain technology for the provision of smart contracts.
