Natural Instinct has announced that it will be recalling several of its frozen pet food products which have been sold online and at independent stores.
The business has taken this precautionary measure of recalling its products, which were made using duck, because said products contain salmonella.
The products in question include Working Dog Duck, Pure Duck, Working Dog Puppy, Duck Carcass, and Duck Necks.
Following this issue, Natural Instinct is warning its retailers and consumers not to sell or purchase its affected products and to return any unused products for a full refund.
Anyone looking for a refund must take photos and email them to Natural Instinct at recall@naturalinstinct.com.
In a statement, the business said: “Natural Instinct takes its obligations regarding pet food safety very seriously and has therefore agreed with the Food Standards Agency to undertake a recall of the following products.”
