Entrepreneur and TV star of Dragon’s Den Theo Paphitis has given Eco Dog Company a Twitter boost by re-tweeting a message that the own
er had sent him.
Hayley Oxenham, owner of Eco Dog Company, tweeted Paphitis during Small Business Sunday, a weekly initiative set up by Paphitis himself. He re-tweets six businesses a week and invites them to enter their new profile on his website, the idea being to raise the profiles of small businesses.
Oxenham’s message was chosen and re-tweeted to some 250,000 followers, which has resulted in 200 more followers for Eco Dog Company, and plenty of interest in its products.
Oxenham said of the achievement: “Our 10 June 2012 #SBS win is a very pleasant and welcome surprise. We’re currently enjoying all of the complimentary tweets and feel very honoured to have been selected. Looking forward to see where this takes us.”
Eco Dog Company was founded in 2010 creating eco-friendly, sustainable and recycled products.
