PetSavers produces guides for dog owners

PetSavers, part of the British Small Animal Veterinary Association (BSAVA), has introduced a new series of canine-focused online, downloadable guides to provide pet owners with reliable additional advice if their dog has been diagnosed with a specific veterinary condition.

The guides cover a range of subjects, from dental disease and diabetes to social issues.

The new guides, join the PetSavers existing library of general online guides on Puppies, Kittens, Rabbits, Guinea pigs, Caring for your elderly pet and Losing your pet.

BSAVA president Sue Paterson said: “By signposting clients to extra downloadable advice or handing them a printed guide when they leave consultation room, we will hopefully reduce their temptation to run potentially misleading ‘Dr Google’ searches to find out more about the diagnosis.”
