Dog toy company Tug-E-Nuff has reported a 16% increase in export sales for 2025, alongside higher fourth-quarter sales, and has set out plans to expand in the US market next year.

The business said it had increased its reach outside the UK during the year, with a particular focus on the US, where it attended events including the APDT International Conference, Clicker Expo and the IAABC Conference.

According to managing director Danny Nelis-Rouse, Tug-E-Nuff plans to open wholesale ordering to independent US retailers and increase the number of American pet-professional partners to strengthen its presence in the market.

The company works with more than 150 pet professional partners in the country.

It expanded its product range in 2025 with its first water toy, a three-in-one dog dummy designed for fetching, floating and tug activities. Initial stock sold out at Crufts and more than 300 pre-orders were placed.

Tug-E-Nuff also reported award success, including recognition at the Pet Industry Federation Awards and the PetQuip Awards. It was shortlisted for several national categories, such as online business, accessories and product awards.

The company stated that it had strengthened its global partner programme, adding just under 400 dog-related professionals across training, behaviour, veterinary and charity sectors.

Nelis-Rouse said: “This has been a landmark year for Tug-E-Nuff, and I couldn’t be prouder of what our team has achieved. Every milestone we’ve reached in 2025 is a reflection of the passion, creativity and commitment that drives our mission to bring more enrichment, confidence and joy to dogs’ lives through play.

“We’re deeply grateful to our incredible customers, partners and the wider dog-loving community for their support and belief in what we do. With the momentum we’ve built this year, we’re more energised than ever to push boundaries, innovate and expand our reach even further in 2026. The opportunities ahead are truly exciting and we can’t wait to build on this year’s success with expanding our presence beyond the UK.”
