Northamptonshire-based accessories manufacturer Trinkety Paws has expanded into the equestrian sector with the launch of Trinkety Equine, a new brand producing BioThane horse tack.
The new equestrian range includes headcollars, lunge lines and lead ropes, all made in the UK.
BioThane is a waterproof and durable coated webbing designed as an alternative to leather or rope.
Company founder Nadine Berger said the move was based on existing expertise in BioThane manufacturing.
Trinkety Equine will present its products at the London International Horse Show in December 2025 and the International Horse Show in February 2026.
Founded in 2019, Trinkety Paws manufactures BioThane collars, leads and harnesses for the pet market and supplies customers in more than 28 countries.
The company has received several industry awards, including the 2023 PetQuip New Starter Award and the 2024 Pet Industry Federation Best Product Award for its BioThane handsfree training lead.
Berger said: “Our experience in the pet accessories market has given us a strong understanding of BioThane production and testing. That knowledge underpins the new equestrian range.
“At Trinkety Equine, we believe that horses deserve the same innovation and care that has already revolutionised dog accessories. By expanding into this sector, our mission is simple: to give equestrians worldwide the opportunity to enjoy tack that is practical, hygienic, long-lasting, and beautifully made in the UK.”
She added: “We are incredibly excited to take the knowledge and expertise we’ve built in the pet world and expand into the equestrian sector. BioThane has transformed the way people think about dog accessories, and now it’s time for equestrians to experience those same benefits in their everyday tack.”
