The Clipit Hub, a new retail and education space for professional and pet grooming has opened at the Basepoint Business Centre in Basingstoke.
Founded by local entrepreneur Paula Bryan, the hub aims to serve as a community space for dog groomers, horse owners and pet enthusiasts.
Bryan, who founded the award-winning Clipit Grooming brand, said the Hub was designed to combine retail, training and professional support under one roof.
The new facility allows visitors to test grooming tools and clippers before purchase, receive expert advice on blade maintenance and coat care, and access workshops on grooming techniques. The store also offers the full Clipit product range, including the Clipit Suit, Clipit Quattro Cordless Clipper and a line of shampoos formulated for dogs and horses.
Bryan said the Hub would also host regular sessions for students and professionals covering topics such as skin and coat care, clipper maintenance and grooming best practice. Student discounts and starter kits are available for those beginning their careers in the industry.
After 40 years in the grooming sector, Bryan described the launch as a milestone for Clipit Grooming, which designs and manufactures its own grooming tools and apparel.
Bryan said: “The Clipit Hub isn’t just a shop – it’s a place for learning, connection and confidence-building.We’ve designed it as a community space where groomers can get hands-on experience with products, attend workshops, and discover how to care for both the skin and coat properly.
“We’ve created something truly unique for Basingstoke. Whether you’re a professional groomer, a student, or a pet owner who wants to learn how to care for your animal’s coat at home, the Hub is here to help.”
