Mars Pet Nutrition UK has announced that it has appointed Chris Rodi to the role of marketing director.
Rodi has worked at Mars since May 2010 and is making the move to Petcare from Mars Wrigley Confectionery, where for the last two years he served as marketing director bitesize portfolio, responsible for Maltesers, M&Ms and Galaxy bitesize brands.
While at Mars Wrigley Confectionery, Rodi oversaw the successful Maltesers ATL campaign ‘Let out your light side’ and worked on doubling the size of the M&Ms brand in the UK.
Chris has had some experience to date in the pet care space overseeing the launch of Pedigree Dog Dates which pairs lonely members of the elderly population with dog owners to help keep them physically and socially active.

Rodi added: “This is an exciting time for the Petcare business. I will be focusing on transforming our portfolio with a category growing innovation pipeline as well as strengthening the salience of our brands with outstanding branded content and media.”
