Festive treats from Mars Petcare

Mars Petcare is helping retailers prepare for Christmas with a range of old favourites and new treats.

Mars has found that 63 percent of pet owners buy their pet a Christmas present. Almost a quarter of non‐pet owners treat the pets of their  loved ones, too.

Mars  Petcare’s best sellers are back for 2016. Pedigree® Stocking has been repackaged and filled with delicious dog treats. The Whiskas®  Stocking includes treats like the Whiskas® Temptations Salmon 60g and a wobbly treat toy.

Mars  Petcare has also launched new, exclusive ranges for Christmas 2016. The festive NPD includes the Dreamies™  Tin, which contains best-­selling flavours sold in a fantastic brightly coloured branded tin that owners can keep for storage.

Mars Petcare has invested £7.5m in TV advertising to support its Christmas range. Popular TV spots for Dreamies®, Whiskas® and Pedigree® will drive shopper awareness. Mars is also offering retailers brand new festive POS  materials. Pre-­filled units for Pedigree® and Dreamies™ help retailers raise awareness of new  products.
