For members of the pet trade, March is a month for networking and boosting brand awareness. Last week, thousands of animal lovers headed to Birmingham for Crufts, the world’s largest dog show. Exhibitors enjoyed an exciting, action-packed event with high visitor numbers. However, the show ring attracted controversy with questions raised regarding the health of a winning German shepherd.

Next week’s trade event, PATS Sandown, offers multiple opportunities for the industry. The two-day get-together will open its doors on Tuesday 22nd March, showcasing popular products and services from over 140 exhibitors – including Pet Gazette.

Last spring’s PATS extravaganza was named a success, after attracting 1,800 retailers, groomers and other trade members, an increase on two percent on the previous year. Organisers expect demand to continue in 2016.

Sandown, and it’s autumn sister-show PATS Telford, give members of the trade chance to network and discover the latest innovations. Some manufacturers aim to offer generous discounts to stores that place orders during the show.

Pet Gazette will be on site and giving away FREE copies of our latest magazine. We’d love to hear your views and feedback, so visit us on stand S2A.
