Pet camera, Furbo, will be featured on the Amazon website during this year’s Black Friday shopping event.
This year, Black Friday will take place on 23 November and most deals and sales will take place over the whole weekend concluding on Monday 26 November on Cyber Monday.
The Furbo Dog Camera is designed for dogs and allows owners to see, talk and dispense treats to their pets even when they’re not at home. The device was developed using input from over 5,000 people including pet owners, vets and trainers.
The Furbo has a barking alert which sends a push notification to the owner’s smartphone. It also has a clicker feature, similar to clicker training, which then tosses a treat to the dog and establishes positive feelings towards the device. The camera also uses light indicators with colours dogs can see – blue and yellow – to attract the pooch’s attention and let them know when their owner has opened the app.
The camera is compatible with the Amazon Alexa allowing owners to give treats via voice command. The Furbo retails for £249.
