Nestlé Purina has announced that its luxury wet cat food brand GOURMET MON PETIT has achieved an impressive £3.6million in value sales since its launch last year.
The company is celebrating its success by adding two new multipacks to the three existing variants within the range.
Available to retailers now, the new Fish multipack contains cod, sardine and salmon pouches, and the Meat multipack contains game, liver and beef pouches. Each recipe containing fine cuts with meat or fish cooked in a delicious sauce to provide a variety of delectable meals that are just the right size.
Mark Zaki, PURINA GOURMET Senior Brand Manager, comments: ‘As the number one Luxury Wet Cat Food brand, we are committed to fuelling category growth through innovation and NPD. The GOURMET MON PETIT range, with its convenient 50g serving pouches, was launched following our insight showing the majority of Wet cat feeders were not using a full pack when feeding their pets.’
GOURMET aims to bring incremental sales to the category by encouraging Regular Wet Cat food users to trade up into Luxury, as well as increase frequency of purchase with existing occasional buyers.
Following the 2014 campaign, the launch is supported by a considerable ATL and BTL investment, with GOURMET returning to TV screens in March and featuring the brand’s iconic white cat, Archie, as the star.
Available now, GOURMET MON PETIT has an RRP of £1.99*for a multipack of six 50g pouches. For more information go to www.gourmet-cat.co.uk.
