Manufacturers launches duck treats in time for Christmas

Direct-to-consumer pet food brand has launched a new treat, the Duck Biscuits, in time for the festive period.

The new treats were released by the brand at the beginning of November and sit alongside its existing Salmon Treats. Containing natural ingredients and with no added sugar, the Duck Treats are made up with cranberry and beetroot for an antioxidant boost and enhanced flavour.

The Duck Biscuits have also been launched with new packaging which is 100 percent recyclable. The other treats in’s range will eventually move to the same packaging.

Jessie Plumpton, head of food, technical and process improvement at said: “Duck Treats are a great addition to our range. Containing natural ingredients, no added sugar and nine calories a treat on average, you can feel good about rewarding your dog.”

Sean McCormack, head vet at, added: “Duck is a great source of protein and is also good for sensitive digestion as it’s not a common cause of dietary intolerances or allergic reactions in dogs. It also has a really rich and indulgent flavour that dogs will love.”
