Billy+Margot team with New Forest Ice Cream as demand increasesDragons’ Den success story Billy+Margot has teamed with New Forest Ice Cream as demand for its produce has grown since the company’s Crufts 2012 launch.

As the quality of the iced dog treats also meets the requirements for human food products, the frozen goods manufacturer has been able to take on the production of the dog treat, because demand had overwhelmed the previous producer.

Now, with both companies based in Hampshire, the partnership is set to blossom as they share more than simply location.

“As well as location, our companies share the same principles – high quality products matched by high quality customer service,” said founder of Billy+Margot, Marie Sawle.

Backed by pet-lover Deborah Meaden, the brand’s range has expanded to include strawberry and apple; apple; banana and carrot; and honey and banana flavours, which are gluten, grain and dairy free as well as being hypoallergenic.

The increased range has come at a time which Niki Jenman, sales director at award-winning ice cream producer New Forest Ice Cream, feels has made the partnership a perfect match.

“We are very excited to be involved with Billy+Margot,” said the sales director. “With our brand new factory, able to quadruple the capacity, the timing could not have been better.”
