Not-for-profit vet opens two new surgeries

Not-for-profit veterinary company Animal Trust is set to open two new surgeries, one in Birkenhead and one in Wrexham.

The new Birkenhead branch is located is set to open on 29 July, and will be operated by a team of veterinary experts, providing a range of services including general practice care, dentistry, X-ray and surgery.

The Wrexham branch is based in the heart of town, with a large free car park available to all patients, and will open on 5 August. The surgery will provide veterinary facilities including general practice care, dentistry, surgery, x-ray, orthopaedics, and is equipped with two surgical theatres, four consultation rooms, and an onsite laboratory.

Animal Trust was set up as a not-for-profit organisation with the sole purpose of focusing on the welfare of animals and not making a profit. All consultations with a vet are completely free of charge and everyone is welcome to register as there is no qualifying criteria to meet.

Owen Monie, founder, Animal Trust Group, said: “Since we opened our first not-for-profit surgery in 2012, the demand for our services has grown rapidly. Last year we treated over 43,000 animals across our surgeries.
