Pet food manufacturer Pets Choice has opened its first factory outlet store in Blackburn, offering clearance deals across its product range.

The store, branded Pet Range, stocks food, treats, toys and wildlife products. Located on Whitebirk Industrial Estate, it marks the company’s first move into physical retail.

Pets Choice said the opening was a “new adventure” for the business and had created local jobs.

The outlet is open on Fridays from 12pm to 8pm, Saturdays from 10am to 6pm, and Sundays from 10am to 4pm.

The launch follows the company’s acquisition of grooming and accessories brand Mikki

It joins Pets Choice’s portfolio, which includes Webbox, Bob Martin, Felight, TastyBone, Vet’s Kitchen and Hownd.

In a LinkedIn post, the company said: “This is a massive moment for us – a whole new adventure for Pets Choice, and the perfect excuse to welcome some brilliant new store colleagues to the team. We are buzzing for what’s ahead, and if you’re local, we’d love to see you in store.”
