Royal Canin launches first range of canine supplements
Targeted at dogs from six months of age, the supplements have been developed with veterinary nutritionists and are supported by research findings

Royal Canin has launched its first range of canine supplements, marking the brand’s entry into the pet supplement category.
The range consists of four once-a-day chewable products designed to address joint and ageing issues, digestion, skin and coat condition, and puppy immunity and digestion.
Targeted at dogs from six months of age, the supplements have been developed with veterinary nutritionists and are supported by research findings.
The launch follows a Royal Canin study of 2,000 UK dog owners, which found that one in five frequently worry about their dog’s health, and 77% believe supplements can help.
Each supplement is formulated with specific ingredients:
- Joints and Ageing: Includes green-lipped mussel to support joint comfort and cartilage health.
- Digestion: Combines prebiotics and beta-glucans to aid gut bacteria balance and stool quality.
- Skin and Coat: Contains omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, zinc, GLA and vitamins to maintain skin condition and support barrier function.
- Puppy Immunity and Digestion: Includes prebiotics and vitamins C and E to support immune defences and digestive health from six months of age.
To promote the launch, Royal Canin opened Golden Paws Park on Clapham Common. The pop-up space, tailored to the needs of older dogs, featured orthopaedic beds, shaded rest areas, a scent wall, and adjustable water bowls to highlight the importance of senior dog wellbeing.
Matt Mullen, retail director at Royal Canin, said: “At Royal Canin, supporting pets through every stage of life is at the core of our purpose. Our new supplement range has been expertly developed to provide targeted support during key life stages or when specific health needs arise.”
He added: “For example, our joint and ageing supplement contains the key ingredient green-lipped mussel, a brilliant source of omega-3 fatty acids; EPA and DHA, and a variety of vitamins, minerals and other nutrients known to support joint health and throughout the ageing process.”
