Interpet has announced the launch of its new range of energy-efficient LED lighting for home aquariums, in order to make “fish shine and plans flourish”.

The pet and aquatics company improved its aquarium lighting to create the Eco-Max LED range, which offers an economical and sustainable alternative to T5/T8 lamps.

The new range is available in six sizes and is priced between £22.99 and £79.99.

Adrian Exell, development and marketing manager at Interpet, said: “The Eco-Max range has just been released, so is brand new to the marketplace and we’re very excited about it, and the benefits it offers for aquarium owners with tropical fish and plants.

“It’s a slim, stylishly designed, range of super bright, yet economical, LED lighting for use on aquariums with both inbuilt white and blue LEDs for day and night modes creating night-light and blue moon options.”

He added: “This submersible waterproof system has been devised by us to create a beautiful aquarium for your tropical fish and plants to flourish in. The system is ideal for encouraging and enhancing plant life.

“It also represents a cost-effective replacement for traditional T8 and T5 fluorescent lighting and metal halide and T5 power compact lighting, or as an upgrade to current LED lit aquariums of any brand.”
