14 year old schoolgirl, Belle Howlett and her Border Collie, Ami have been named the winners of\u00a0Young Kennel Club Jumping Dog of the Year Competition at this year\u2019s Crufts.\r\n\r\nBelle, who is trained by her mum, Kate Howlett of K9 K8 Dog Agility Training also received the YKC Sporting Talent of the Year trophy for her achievements which led her to being nominated for the YKC Shaun McAlpine Young Person of the Year Award at Crufts.\r\n\r\nBelle, who is from Rayleigh in Essex has also been selected to represent the GB Junior Team in the Junior European Dog Agility Championships which is taking place in July this year in Slovakia.\r\n\r\nBelle, Ami and her other competing dog Leia, are sponsored by leading dog food manufacturers, Benyfit Natural who specialise in producing recipes based on the Biologically Appropriate Raw Food Diet.\r\n\r\nBenyfit Natural\u2019s founder, Ben Van Praagh, himself a leading gundog trainer who has competed across the UK with his dogs in gundog trials and as a qualified chef, developed his own range of recipes to help the conditioning and vitality of his own dogs.\r\n\r\nBen said:\u00a0\u201cWe are absolutely delighted with Belle\u2019s achievements and we are very proud to have sponsored her and her dogs.
