Lead Up to World Turtle Week

Zoo Med Laboratories and dedicated conservationists, the Turtle and Tortoise Preservation Group (TTPG), are teaming up for the third year in a row to bring you ‘Turtle Week’.

The week-long festivities lead up to the annual World Turtle Day celebration on May 23rd, filled with photos, information, and activities about the world’s turtles and tortoises.

Since their initial collaboration in 2013, Zoo Med and TTPG have supplied over 600 classrooms with special World Turtle Day lesson packets to help educate the next generation about the significance of these ancient creatures and the importance of protecting them and their natural environments.
