With just over two to go, the London Pet Show has announced exciting new features for 2015, including the Hill’s School for Dogs, the Nerf Dog Agility Ring and TopCats competition by the Governing Council of the Cat Fancy.
The London Pet Show, sponsored by Gocompare.com, is a huge production this year, attracting sponsorship from leading industry names including Hill’s, Zoflora, RC Hagen brands ExoTerra and Fluval, James Wellbeloved, Royal Canin and Burgess Pet Care.
Hill’s School for Dogs features a programme of events dedicated to teach dog owners how to train their dog and find the right diet to support a healthy and happy lifestyle. From learning some of the basic commands to seeing some of the most entertaining dogs perform (including winners from SuperDogs Live 2014), Hill’s School for Dogs is one feature not to be missed. Visitors can expect obedience displays by the Metropolitan Police and expert trainer and behaviourist Gwen Bailey.
Visitors can head to the Nerf Dog Activity Ring to watch amazing agility displays. The jam-packed programme of events includes Dog Dancing, Flyball, duck herding by expert trainer Richard Curtis as well as heats of the legendary Scruffts competition from James Wellbeloved.
TopCats Competition, a brand new cat show by the GCCF, will also be launched at the London Pet Show in 2015. The exciting cat show is open to members of the public where both pedigree and household cats will be able to enter – competing for certificates and rosettes in categories including Best of Colour, Best in Show and Best Household Pet. TopCats will take place on both days, with live commentary and instant judging. For the first time, visitors to the London Pet Show will be able to understand first-hand what happens at a cat show as well as vote for their favourite competitors to win.
In addition to the exciting line-up of interactive features the London Pet Show will also provide visitors, for the very first time, the opportunity to shop in the Market Place – a place to find the latest and most innovative treats, toys, food, clothes and gifts for pets.
The Zoflora Super Theatre will once again play host to a full programme of the show’s most popular events including the heart-warming SuperDogs Live competition and exclusive Supervet Live show with Channel 4’s Noel Fitzpatrick.
Also returning to the London Pet Show is the Rabbit Show Jumping courtesy of Burgess Pet Care. As one of the most popular attractions at the London Pet Show, this feature cannot be seen at any other event in the UK.
