New products, networking and breaking news. Yes, it’s that time again. The pet industry has entered one of its busiest show seasons. If you haven’t attended an event yet, no doubt your packed bags are by the door.

For members of the trade, the next few weeks are packed with opportunities. Super-sized events are gathering thousands of manufacturers and retailers to showcase brands and the best new products.

Members of the equestrian trade already know that BETA International took place from 22-24 February. Almost 300 exhibitors from around the world attended, along with over 4,500 visitors. Some retailers couldn’t resist taking a second look at the many new products – there were over 700 re-entries on separate days.

At the time of writing, Crufts is in full swing. The world’s largest dog show is aimed at consumers, but attracts its fair share of industry visitors, too, presenting some of the best dog products to pet-owners.

Pet Gazette is looking forward to meeting many of you on 17th and 18th March. The entire pet trade will be meeting under a single roof at the seventh PATS Sandown in Surrey. The event plans to welcome over 140 exhibitors. A New Product Showcase will be flagging up some most exciting items available in 2015. Pet Gazette will be there – come and say hello to us on stand R3.

Do you aim to expand internationally? Guangzhou International Pet & Aquarium takes place in Haizhu District, Guangzhou, China on June 26th to 28th. The enormous industrial expo will cover 30,000m² and expects over 5000 professional buyers from China and overseas.

If you are attending these or any other trade shows this spring, share your must-visit events on twitter @PetGazette.
