Petfood Forum organisers have announced that the 2021 show is scheduled for 22-24 September next year, taking place at the Kansas City Convention Center in Kansas City, Missouri, USA.
The event’s agenda will include presentations from industry experts and leading researchers on the latest pet food market data, nutrition, ingredients, pet food formats, quality and safety, processing, packaging, marketing, and social media, amongst others.
Its content advisory board is now seeking abstracts for noncommercial oral presentations and research posters on the above topics, with a submissions deadline of 15 January.
Organisers said they are working toward holding an in-person event, adding that “other options are being explored”, including digital platforms and hybrid models in a bid to open the event to everyone from across the globe.
Nonetheless, prospective speakers have been asked to not submit an abstract, especially for an oral presentation, if they are not sure they will be able to attend the event in-person.
In addition to the program of educational sessions, the event will enable attendees to network and collaborate with industry professionals, as well as learn about the latest trends and developments in the pet food industry.
The event will also feature a “robust” exhibit hall floor where attendees can engage with supplier companies.
Full registration details for Petfood Forum 2021 will be announced in February 2021.
