Direct4Pet has announced that it will stock and distribute pet supplement brand LitPet, whose products merge traditional Chinese medicine with modern science.

Products the veterinary-led online retailer will carry include the company’s new ‘Meaty Mix’, a range of nutritional grain-free meat paste for cats and dogs aiming to support digestion, joint health stress relief and urinary health.

It will also list Pawsitive Powder 200g, a dog supplement mixing chisandra and valerian with Lactium and DHA; CardioPlus 200g, targeting dogs’ cardiovascular function made of hawthorn, salvia, CoQ10 and taurine; ImmunoPro 200g, an all-in-one immune booster featuring astragalus, ganoderma, beta-glucans and probiotics; and Body Balance 200g, a formula promoting overall wellness containing codonopsis, atractylodes and key nutrients.

Designed for daily use for both dogs and cats, LitPet’s supplements target stress relief, heart health, digestion, immunity and general wellbeing by balancing active ingredients at therapeutic levels without any fillers, artificial colours or preservatives.

All of the business’ products are manufactured in GMP-certified UK facilities after being veterinarily developed by the Institute of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, Shandong Academy of Agricultural Sciences (SAAS), the Pet Innovation Research Institute from Hong Kong Science Park and the Key Laboratory of Science and Technology at The University of Oxford.

Garry Howard, Direct4Pets, said: “We are delighted to be distributing this exciting and innovative range of herbal supplements and being able to deliver something new and effective to our customers.”

Stephen Hu, founder of LitPet, added: “This is a milestone for our business to be working alongside one of the largest online veterinary approved product retailers in the UK. This will allow us to reach customers nationwide.”
