Wellpaws, a pet wellness brand launched in 2025, has secured a major distribution agreement with Vital Pet Group

The deal will see Wellpaws’ range of syrups and chewable supplements stocked by the UK-based pet product wholesaler, available to independent retailers, veterinary practices, and pet superstores nationwide.

The partnership follows a period of rapid growth for the North West-based brand, which was founded by former professional footballer Neil Yadolahi.

Inspired by his dog Alfie’s chronic joint pain, Yadolahi developed a range of vet-approved supplements focusing on ease of delivery through flavored syrups and chewables, a format designed to solve the tablet battle faced by many pet owners.

Vital Pet Group, which was recently named Wholesaler of the Year 2025 at the Pet Industry Awards, has been a central pillar of the UK pet trade for over 40 years.

The addition of Wellpaws to its portfolio aligns with a broader market shift toward functional pet wellness, which has become a primary driver of the over £3bn UK pet food and supplement industry in 2026.

Yadolahi said: “Partnering with Vital Pet Group is a huge moment for Wellpaws. Their reach and reputation will help us bring our products to more pet lovers across the country and support our mission to make pet wellness accessible at every level of retail.”
