TopLife has expanded into the dog treat market with the launch of Cheese Bones, a three-strong range aimed at helping retailers diversify their pet offerings.

Known for its pet milk products, TopLife products are easily digestible, low in lactose, gluten free and high in protein, supporting muscle development, the immune system, and skin and coat health.

Cheese Bones are made using a traditional Himalayan recipe and are designed to be long-lasting, promoting dental hygiene and helping to reduce destructive chewing behaviour in anxious dogs and puppies.

When the bone becomes too small to chew safely, owners can microwave the remainder to create a final puffed treat.

The Cheese Bones come in three sizes: Small Dog (5–9kg) with a recommended retail price (RRP) of £3.99, Medium Dog (10–14kg) at £5.99, and Large Dog (15–19kg) at £7.99.

Sainsbury’s and Morrisons are set to stock the small and medium variants from 13 July and 11 August respectively.

The full range will be available on Amazon and via wholesaler Vital Pet Group to independent retailers.

TopLife marketing manager Claire Bailey said: “With TopLife Cheese Bones, we now have a compelling treat product that enables our retail partners to offer dog owners a nutritious and long-lasting snack at an affordable price point.

“With dog owners increasingly understanding the important role that milk and dairy products can have in a dog’s diet, stocking TopLife Cheese Bones is a great way for retailers to drive their pet category sales and profits.”
