Healthy pet food company Edgard & Cooper is adding training treats, jerkys and bars to its range of healthy dog food.

The brand, which is known for producing the world’s first kibble with 100 percent fresh meat and no meat meal, is packaging all treats in biodegradable packaging making it the first brand in Europe to have full range in fully biodegradable packaging, keeping sustainability firmly at the forefront of its NPD.

Each treat is grain-free and claims to contain only simple and recognisable ingredients.

The additions to the range include its Training Treats which retails for £2.99 a pack; the Meat and Fruit Jerky at £6.99 and the Busy Day Bar which is £1.49 per bar.

Co-founder Louis Chalabi said: “We’re responding to the fact that all dog-owners love to treat their pets, not to mention the use of food being a key tool in training. We wanted to bring together our principles of healthy, fresh and nutritious to treats, allowing owners to relax in the knowledge that their pets are being looked after. As with all our products, we’ll also continue to donate 10 percent of profits to charity.”
