Former Mars Petcare director, Rachel Andre, has launched a new cat care brand called Tippaws.

Tippaws is an independent direct-to-consumer, pet lifestyle company offering cat food and long-lasting clumping litter.

The company’s dry cat food range is naturally hypoallergenic and is made from 70% real meat and fish.

The launch range includes four dry food recipes to cater for kittens, adult and neutered cats, as well as a Tippaws Taster Pack consisting of sample bags of the three adult meals.

The clumping litter is a patented antibacterial formula made from plant fibres that are by-products, compostable, biodegradable and FSC certified. One 6L bag lasts 45 days.

Andre said: “I set up Tippaws with the aim of making the nation’s cats purr, whether that’s from healthy and nutritious food that tastes so good a cat will stand on their tippy paws to get it or offering their owner insights on how to help their cat can live their best life from kitten to seniors. Working closely with experts in feline nutrition and behaviourists, Tippaws has launched a range in line with research on what Tippaws believe cats and their owners really want.

“Being a small, independently owned company, I also felt it was important that cats and kittens, who don’t yet have a loving home to call their own, get to purr too, which is why a focus on partnering with cat rescue charities has been incorporated into our business model from the get-go.”
