Home grooming manufacturing company, FURminator, has announced that it has partnered with professional groomer and director and founder of The Groomers Spotlight, Stuart Simons.
Recent research from FURminator revealed that less than one in 10 Brits were aware of their dog’s grooming needs, as a result, the company will be working with Simons to educate owners on the importance of regular grooming sessions and the ease of implementing a routine at home to help pets’ coats stay healthy and strong.
Simons will not only be providing his expertise across PR and social to engage owners on the platforms they use the most, but also working with retailers to train staff on using FURminator’s extensive range of grooming products so they have the knowledge needed to support their customers and store sales.
Stuart Simons said: “I’m hugely passionate about educating owners on the importance of regular grooming sessions, whether it’s in the home or through a certified professional, to support pet health and ensure the best for their four-legged friend. I’ve used FURminator for a number of years in my salons, so partnering with the company to help raise awareness of grooming felt like a natural choice for me.”
Gemma Serdet, brand manager at FURminator, added: “At FURminator, we understand the importance of maintaining healthy skin and coat for pets which is why our grooming solutions are tailored to help a range of pets, no matter what their breed or size, to look and feel their best. In fact, weekly use of FURminator’s deShedding tools helps to reduce shedding by up to 90 percent by reaching deep into the undercoat to remove loose fur and dirt while working to release natural oils to support the skin.”
