Doggy day care provider, Bruce’s has announced the opening of its newest centre at the Wellington Country Park.

This is the first doggy day care to launch at a country park location, which the group said was the next “logical step” in growing the business.

Bruce Casalis, founder of Bruce’s, said: “As the UK’s leading provider, the Bruce’s brand is set to grow as it strives to meet the demand for doggy day care services.

“We thoroughly research where to open new sites and it is clear that a country estate or farm attraction setting is mutually beneficial. Our site fits seamlessly into Wellington Country Park and with many of its visitors being passionate dog owners, it’s a perfect match.”

Andrew Speed, estate director for Wellington Estates, added: “When we saw that Bruce’s were looking for new site locations, we invited them to come and meet with us to understand if their offering was something we were interested to entertain.

“After two meetings and a visit to their existing centre at Cobham we felt that the quality of their brand and service would add to our current offering and tenant mix and enable us to derive a new source of income from underutilised land.”
