The Green Poop Bag launches new packaging for ‘Plastic Free July’

The new packaging comes in two and six month supply boxes and offers free shipping for the larger boxes to ‘reduce delivery frequency’

The Green Poop Bag company has launched new two-in-one packaging for their waste bag range to celebrate ‘Plastic Free July’.

The company’s compostable dog and cat waste bags are now delivered in a single, flip-top box made from recycled and recyclable cardboard.

According to the group, they take up three times less space while being transported with less paper and filler being used and making emissions lower.

The new packaging comes in two and six month supply boxes and offers free shipping for the larger boxes to “reduce delivery frequency”.

Denise Lucas, the founder of The Green Poop Bag, said: “We are so excited about the new boxes because our mission is to be as environmentally friendly as possible.

“The new boxes mean less packaging, less waste and less emissions during delivery. One of the objections we have from pet owners when it comes to compostable poop bags is that they’re too expensive, so we wanted to change this.”

She added: “By offering free shipping for a six-month supply +10% off with subscription, it works out at around £4 per month, this way we try to encourage pet owners to buy less frequently and reduce their carbon pawprint but also expense.”
