Supermarket chain Aldi has launched the Yale Indoor Camera, a device which will allow people to keep an eye on what is going on in their home whilst they are away.

As well as giving homeowners confidence that their property is safe and secure, the in-home security camera can “reveal the real secret life of pets” so owners can know what their pets get up to. There is also a two-way audio feature, which will allow owners to interact with their pet if the need arises.

The Yale Indoor Camera can be paired with Amazon Alexa screen-enabled devices, meaning users can control the camera with their voice even if they’re not in the home. Via the Yale Home View App, short videos and snapshots can be taken directly from mobile phones, where users will also receive updates of anything unusual thanks to the motion detection feature.
