Merrick Purffect Bistro has launched a new campaign, the Purffect Choice Awards, designed to offer pet owners an opportunity to honour their pets.
The virtual awards show will be hosted by creator and entrepreneur Wendy Ly, and is focused on user participation and storytelling from pet owners as opposed to the promotion of pet products. The awards reflect the brand’s intention to strengthen engagement with cat owners and build a community around the brand.
A panel of judges will pick finalists based on personality, creativity, originality and category, with nominees being revealed on July 13. The six category winners will receive a Purrfect Choice Awards Trophy, a one-month supply of Merrick Purrfect Bistro, and a curated “Bistro Box” consisting of cat treats. The prize winner will receive a Best in Show trophy, a six-month supply of Merrick Purrfect Bistro, and a personalised, multi-story cat house to transform their cat’s space into a feline paradise.
“My cats are my whole world, and I genuinely believe every cat has a personality worth celebrating — I know mine do,” Wendy Ly, content creator and host of the Purrfect Choice Awards, said. “I’m so honoured to be part of the Purrfect Choice Awards. The categories were made for cats we all know and love, and now is their moment. I want to see your cats in the running!”
Merrick Purrfect Bistro has been in operation for more than 30 years, with the mission to make nutritious food for pets with whole foods, fresh ingredients and without preservatives. Alongside the awards, the business is also unveiling a new brand identity spanning branding, packaging, and an expanded menu of offerings, designed to suit individual cat needs.
