The bake-at-home dog treat company is now stocked in 11 Lakeland stores, including Bridgemere, Cambridge, Eastbourne, Kingston, Edinburgh, York, Chichester, Stratford-upon-Avon, Norwich, Handforth and Windermere.
Available products will include its Dog Cake Mix, Dog Treat Mix Cheese and Seaweed flavour, Dog Treat Mix Apple and Cinnamon flavour, Doggy Ice Cream Mix, Bone-shaped Cake Mould, Paw Print Mould and Star Barker Spoon.
The launch builds on the brand’s presence in 75 shops across the country, including independent pet and gift shops along with garden centres.
Lakeland’s new pet care and accessories division, which additionally stocks brands Mason Cash and Paws Boutique, will feature a wide variety of products ranging from doggy ice cream to treat jars.
Dog and Bond’s bake-at-home treat mixes, consisting of grain-free, natural, human-grade ingredients without colours or preservatives, are made by adding either one or two eggs and some water.
Avi Nagel, Dog and Bond founder, said: “We’re over the moon to be part of Lakeland’s new pet section! At Dog and Bond, we believe baking for your dog should be a joyful shared experience, not just another treat from a packet. Our kits make it easy for pet parents to bake homemade treats using simple, natural ingredients, while spending quality time with their dogs.
“We’re really excited that more pet parents will now be able to experience the fun of making treats at home with their four-legged friends. Whether it’s celebrating a birthday, a special treat, or just a fun afternoon in the kitchen, we love helping people create those little moments that bring them closer to their pets.”
