Eggy Mart, an Asian convenience store catering to Asian food culture and pets, has announced the launch of its first site in London’s Wembley.
The store, established by pet-lovers Ella Li and Carol Qi, will stock a range of pet supplies including food, clothing, accessories and skincare, as well as Asian food, snacks and beverages and lifestyle products.
The store’s offering will primarily consist of Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Thai products.
The business is the latest brand to join the growing mix of independent shops and cafes in Wembley’s Grand Union project, delivered by St George, a development firm within the Berkeley Group.
Ella Li, founder of Eggy Mart, said: “At Eggy Mart, we believe your everyday routines should include everyone you love, including your pets. Launching London’s first pet-friendly Asian convenience store enables us to share our love for Asian culture and food with our passion for pets, offering locals the chance to treat themselves and their furry friends in a single shopping trip.
“Grand Union’s emphasis on community and accessibility made it a natural choice for our first store, and we look forward to quite literally welcoming everyone and their dogs following our grand opening this weekend.”
