Pet equipment manufacturer Orvis has rewarded a family with one of its memory foam dog beds after the family raised £1,300 for charity Pets as Therapy (PAT).

The family all participated in a sponsored dog walk for the charity, sponsored by Orvis in April, raising a combined total of £1,390.

Mother Chloe Darcy’s daughter, who is unwell in hospital, is regularly visited by PAT volunteer Ian and his PAT dog Rosie. The family saw the fundraising as a way to to repay the kindness of the charity.

The family were presented with their Orvis dog bed at the company’s Harrogate store on 19 July.
