Research by information management company EDM Group found that 76% of UK businesses say a large amount of mail and communications are incorrectly allocated due to human error.

Research showed that 39 percent of businesses have experienced a negative impact of poor mail and communication management, only 16 percent of businesses said they met their mail management service level.

As many as 81 percent of businesses say they have not adopted a digital mailroom, leaving themselves open to potential fines after the GDPR is implemented on 25 May.
