Pets Corner has opened a new store in Edwalton, Nottingham

According to the retailer, the new store offers those in the neighbouring areas its full range of natural pet foods including Canagan, More, McAdams and Tribal, along with insect-based pet food, Yora.

As part of the store’s environmental efforts, the site will be powered by Good Energy, a renewable energy firm, and runs a zero to landfill scheme in store.

Pets Corner said that as a company it aims to “support local industries” by stocking products made by innovative UK companies.

Pets Corner said: “Our academy trained staff cannot wait to invite pets of all shapes and sizes into the store to visit them. The shop provides everything you would need for your dog, cat and small animals, as well as reptile and aquatic accessories.

“Services offered in-store include nutritional advisers, fitting services, health club, and carry to your car, with free on-site parking.”

To date, Pets Corner has 143 stores in the UK – consisting of 85 standalone stores and 58 garden centre concessions.
