Mars PetCare has launched Dreamies Snacky Mouse, an interactive snacking treat and toy for cats.
The limited edition mouse-shaped wobble toy has been designed to dispense DREAMIES™ treats as cats bat, tap, pounce and play with it. Snacky Mouse™ aims to encourage cat play and interaction with owners.
“We know that cats love playtime as much as they love the irresistible taste of Dreamies™ cat treats – and, we wanted to create a product that combines both of these passions,” said Tom Lindley, marketing director at Mars Petcare UK. “The limited edition Dreamies™ Snacky Mouse™ toy makes treat time even more playful, creating the ultimate game of cat and mouse!”
Available for a limited time from June, Snacky Mouse™ is sold with a 60g bag of tasty Dreamies™ Cheese at an RRP of £3.00.
The launch of Snacky Mouse™ will be supported by a full-scale marketing campaign that brings the “Cat vs. Mouse” concept to life. The mouse toy is put to the ultimate feline test in a fun online video comprised of live action clips of cats “boxing” the new toy and triumphantly enjoying Dreamies™ cat treats. POS materials will also be available for retailers to drive interest and make Snacky Mouse™ unmissable in store.
