Torus has been named one of three bowls to win the 2016 Vanguard Award, which recognises leadership, category growth and innovation within the US pet industry.
“Torus is a unique and exciting solution that sits between a water fountain and travel bowl. The system automatically dispenses filtered water just like a fountain, but there is no need for power or batteries, making it fully portable.” Carina Evans, CEO of Torus.
The new innovative bowl had to meet a number of criteria to claim the award, including addressing consumers’ demands for convenience, portability and keeping pets hydrated during car rides and walks.
The watering system, which launched into the UK pet market in 2015 has already won a prestigious Queen’s Award, New Product recognition award and Innovation of the Year 2016.
