The International Pet Conference in Barcelona will take place in Barcelona on October 11 and 12, 2016.
The title of the conference will be “Exploring new horizons. How companies in the pet product business can expand their activities”. Discussions will focus on the future development of pet product retailing, innovative marketing and brand strategies and new multichannel and cross-channel concepts.
Speakers from international companies will outline the latest trends and present their strategies. Leading figures appearing at the conference include Torsten Toeller (Fressnapf), Polina Kosharna (Suzirja Company Group) and Cristi Pop (Animax/Pet Product).
As in previous years, the conference will be organised by the trade magazine PET worldwide, published by Dähne Verlag, and Management Forum der Verlagsgruppe Handelsblatt. Over 150 delegates are expected to attend.
One of the highlights of the event will be the presentation of the PET Personality of the Year award. The award is given to a person whose activities have advanced the pet supplies sector.
