Gwent Police are appealing for information following four break-ins and a theft that occurred at the Britannia Enterprise Centre in Pengam overnight on  March 15-16.

Silver Star Pets was broken into and had over £35,000 worth of stock stolen including an African grey parrot valued at £900. Other stolen items included dog leads, dog coats, fish tanks, various pet food and dog grooming equipment.

The other units broken into were Auto Stitch, George Monumental Masons and Pride and Groom where damage was caused to the doors but fortunately nothing was stolen. A taxi sign, however, was also stolen from one of the vehicles parked at the centre.

Officers are investigating and ask that anyone with information calls 101 quoting 1600091057.
