SuperDogs Live at the London Pet Show Is Looking For the UKs Most Talented Canines!

The search has began for the UK’s most talented, heroic and entertaining dogs to enter SuperDogs Live, a competition with winners participating in a spectacular show hosted by Channel 4’s Supervet Noel Fitzpatrick at the London Pet Show, sponsored by, on 9-10 May at ExCeL London.

Pet owners are being encouraged to enter their dog into the competition, with categories including Strictly Doggy Dancing, Most Talented Dog and Most Heroic Hound. Entrants will have the chance to win great prizes and be part of the performance presented by Noel Fitzpatrick.

The Superdogs Live competition will take place throughout the weekend at the Zoflora Super Theatre, with dogs from across the country  taking centre stage and competing to win awards in a fun-filled, action packed show.

Previous winners of SuperDogs Live, at the London Pet Show 2014, included Rachel Grylls from Devon and her Jack Russell cross Jacob taking first prize for Most Talented Dog and Lucy Heath with Indie, from Sleaford in Lincolnshire winning gold for Doggy Dancing.

Heroic Hound awards were given over the weekend to Flora from Islington in London, who works for the Blue Cross, Cassie from Wilburton in Cambridgeshire, who helps disadvantaged children, Hetty from Langton Green in Kent, who is the first guide dog also trained for alert to seizures and Brock from Bracknell, who has rescued literally hundreds of people.

Speaking to Ben Fogle at the London Pet Show 2014, Noel Fitzpatrick explained the special bond we have with animals and why it makes SuperDogs Live such a heartwarming competition; “It’s a very pure kind of love. Human beings find it very hard to give unconditionally. That love, if you could bottle it – it would be the elixir of life – it’s amazing!”
