Byotrol was named as runner up in the Rising Stars category at the recent UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) Greater China Awards.
Held at the Lowry Theatre in Salford, the awards were presented by Chinese consul general Pan Yundong and Ana Gibson of Finnair, which was supporting the awards for the sixth year running. The Rising Stars award is given to the company that has achieved the most in greater China in three years or less of trading in the market.
Byotrol’s achievement came as a result of the launch of its co-branded range of both professional and consumer pet grooming and environment hygiene products.
Head of the Byotrol Pet Care division James Gibson said: “When looking to enter a new territory our approach is to partner with companies that have an established presence in the market. While the Byotrol technology offers unique product claims our partners offer us the capability to gain significant market share quicker than we could on our own. The success and rapid growth of the Carexpro range is testament to this.
“We are absolutely delighted to receive such a prestigious award, our partnership with Sunon is absolutely key to our success in China and we look forward to developing our close relationship with them.”
Head of Asia Pacific development for UKTI north west said: “Byotrol PLC has recognised the importance of branding, and the need for a suitable local partner to provide a launch pad for their future expansion. We wish all three companies all the best and are sure they will enjoy continued success.”
